Eileen Wharton is not the naughty great granddaughter of Edith Wharton. Her first novel, ‘Shit Happens’ was published by Byker Books to worldwide critical acclaim. She’s also won awards for exaggeration. She writes children’s books (The Shmoogly Boo) and a blog three people read. Having recently experienced blurred vision, she wonders whether self-promotion makes you go blind. She has a phobia of tinned tuna and lives on a council estate in the North of England. She has five ‘lively’ children, two mams, one dad and a Stephen. The Stephen is very cheeky and incredibly loveable. When she grows up she wants to be Lynda LaPlante.
Look out for Eileen Wharton's chilling detective thriller, Blanket of Blood, scheduled for release in spring 2016, published by Bloodhound Books.
