Fiona Gartland

Fiona Gartland is an author and journalist from Dublin. She worked for The Irish Times for 17 years specialising in legal affairs and court coverage, reporting on family law, civil law and on crime at the Central Criminal Court. In 2016, she became assistant news editor and then section editor, before stepping back to work freelance and focus on her crime fiction.

She’s had a trilogy of crime novels published by small Irish press, Poolbeg Books, and has had half a dozen short stories broadcast on RTE Radio and published in magazines, including literary quarterly, The Stinging Fly. She is married, with four grown-up children, enjoys long walks, great reads and the occasional singsong.
