Kim was born in Aotearoa (New Zealand) and lived in Australia for 24 years. She wrote her first novel manuscript while completing a BA Communications at UTS (Sydney). She wrote her next manuscript, The Watermark, while finishing a Master of Letters at Sydney University and is currently working on a third novel.
She’s been published in anthologies and literary journals including Overland and Southerly.
Kim has lived within walls, without walls, under corro and in a van. Previous work as band roadie, tiler, gardener, caretaker and in womens’ refuge inform her writing. She’s currently living and writing in Aotearoa.
